DESCRIPTION:Raising awareness about cybersecurity for space assets and data since 2021\n\n\n\n\nSince 2021\, CYSEC\, a European cybersecurity company\, has launched CYSAT\, the biggest European event exclusively dedicated to safeguarding space assets and data. \nThe beginning of CYSAT traces back to 2019\, when cybersecurity emerged as a critical concern in the space sector\, particularly with the rise of civil and commercial missions. This period also witnessed an increase in private investments\, particularly in small satellites\, anticipating exponential growth. \nAs a cybersecurity specialist and inspired by the proactive discussions\, conferences\, and satellite hacking contests in the U.S.\, CYSEC recognizing the critical need to secure the space industry. As Europe lacked a dedicated space community addressing cybersecurity concerns\, CYSEC took the initiative to create a customized event. \nGiving the growing importance of data protection in space\, CYSAT aims to bring together cybersecurity and space experts to cultivate a unique European ecosystem while tackling past\, current and future industry challenges.

SUMMARY:European Operations Framework EOF workshop No. 3
DESCRIPTION:The European Operations Framework EOF workshop No. 3 will bring the space robotics community of Europe together in order to achieve a coordinated position related to On-Orbit Operations.\nPERASPERA started EOF as part of its work on the SRC Space Robotics Technologies and generated a platform for cooperation for on-orbit services (OOS) called the EOF. The workshop allows harmonization among all stakeholders to generate guidelines & principles for on-orbit operations in the context of commercialization. This supports further regulation\, licensing and norming activities by appropriate instances. \nThe PERASPERA-X consortium is pleased to announce that the 3rd EOF Workshop will be held at the German Aerospace Centre in Cologne 28-29 September 2022. The workshop will be a full live event (presence) with the possibility to receive a digital stream for registered users.
